Default Clanking noise while driving

Hey all,

I am pretty sure that my Z has the issue regarding the rear axle clicking when going from P to D or R and etc. But I have this clanking noise, it's slight, while driving. It does not relate to the engine since the noise does not relate to the speed of the car but relates to the roar. If I go over a bump, I'll hear it moreso then when I am driving on a nicely paved road.

Is this also the rear axle that's causing this or could it be something else?

46K on the car and stock suspension.

When I close the door, I can hear the little squeeking.
Anyone know what this is?

open up ur trunk and hit the trunk from underneath to see if the noise is coming from the top of the trunk, have the same problem i think. I can hear it over bumps and when i close the door. It is not the axle clicking because I have that too and it's a different sound

I will check on that. Yeah, I do hear it when I close the door, it's driving me nuts trying to figure out what it is.
The rear axle clicking is not all that bad since it is usually going from R to D to P to D/R.

it's possible the fuel filler recall was done and the bolts were reused instead of replaced... or not torqued properly.. if you really hear a clanking while in motion, get it on a lift as soon as you can and inspect the bolts around the pumpkin.. The axle flanges and the driveshaft flange bolts should be checked. If something shears back there at highway speeds, it's not going to be fun.
