Default brake question.

I think I know what the issue is but I like a 2nd opinions. Alright, so I have an 04 with brembo's. Recently got the rear axle click issue fixed. Now that I don't hear that anymore, I have a sort of metalic grinding. It is a short sound then stop then short again, this is rolling at maybe 5mph. As I speed up the time between grinds is shorter. When I step on the brakes, especially at very low speeds, The grind is really bad. It's on the rear right side. My guess is I just need some new pads. That wopuld explain the bad grind when stepping on brakes. My more serious question is when going so and not on brakes, whats the intermitant grinding sound...warped rotor maybe?

Thanks for the input!

Default Dust shield?

Take the wheel off and check to make sure your dust shield isn't bent and making contact with any moving parts. It's easy to bend back into place. It could have been bent by the shop that was working on your car.

Also, if you can lift the whole rear end off the ground and spin the wheels slowly you might be able to zero in on where the noise is coming from.
