Was under the car putting on my camber arms and noticed the writing on my Sportline springs was upside down on both sides.....

Are they in wrong?? how do u tell top and bottom>???>>???? I dont remember in the box it stating anything in the rear about a top and bottom. How do u tell????

I know there a progressive spring and the springs wound tighter twords one end, thats the end thats on the botton in the perch, is that upsidedown???

 

I am not an expert......but the top of the spring should be a flat surface.....while the bottom twirls in a downward loop. Is there any writing(brand/logo/#'s etc....) on the springs the appears upside down?

 

yes all of the writing on both of the rears is upside down. When I put them together it seemed to fit this way. I dont think I would put them in wrong. I dont understand why they would put the writing on the wrong way???

 

so you installed the springs with the flat side up? If so you should be ok......

 

The springs are likely standing on their top when the ###'s are painted onto them. Once they're on the car, its not like it matters.
