Firestone Lifetime Alignments for $140! Problem is...
They can only align to manufacturer specifications they claim. They say that if I have aftermarket equipment like my Eibach Sprotline Springs (1.2" drop all around) I need to provide alignment specs. Problem is, I don't have a clue what those specs are. I have stock 18s and an Eibach front and rear sway bar kit. Everything else is OEM.
Please help
Thanks
I need an alignment and I plan to milk the **** out of this deal!

Just give them the specs you want. I would go a little more than the stock negative rear camber..... Rear camber has aways looked stupid on Zsss
Surely someone on the forums has a recomended #s..
I had the same deal on my 4Runner with a 3" lift, they tried to say they maxed out the stock settings.... I told them to go by numbers not what the computer suggested...

Lucky for me... the firestone guy down the street who sold me the lifetime alignment is a huge Z car guy.... he owns quite a few Z's and races them.... nice guy... I was asking him about the alignment they do because I didn't want the original factory alignment due to the feathering... he knew about it already and said he already has the updated alignment specs... when I asked about when I get coilovers if they would still do the alignments... he said yes and that he has several good setups and could do whatever I wanted....
Try a different location???

The Firestone here is great. The manager there is a big Zed head and a member of the local club - we get a discount as a club memebers.
They'll do just about anything I ask there.

On some racks, the issue isn't only the initial incline, but the lips on the rack can catch the underside of the car if its really low. I hated pulling super low cars on/off the rack, esp vettes, damn things are so long, it makes things extra fun.

I called the firestone down the street. They said their lifetime alignment doesnt cover camber. he said to adjust toe, camber, etc. is $149 (non lifetime).
That's twice as much as the dealer. Then again, the firestone nearby is expensive on everything. I just thought it was a bit rediculous.

Been to my alignment guy about 3 times in less then a year already, I paid 159$ i think for my lifetime alignment. I already got my moneys worth in just those 3 times, and I plan on going back more too. He adjusts everything to where I want (Toe, Camber, whatever I want).
