Default Weird brake noise

Just got my front pads changed and rotors resurfaced done today at a local body shop. The problem I'm having is whenever I touch the brakes a metal shriek comes from the front right and sometimes a hollow type sound from the front left. I looked at the brake pads and they are from Nissan but are blue?!?
The last time I bought oem pads myself thy were black. Could the shop have installed the brakes wrong or do I need to properly bed them in? Its driving me insane and terribly embarrassing.

sounds like you should have gone to a brake shop rather than a body shop. new pads should not sound like that and OEM pads are not blue

Bed them in , if not you may be on the edge of replacement from the cut. With less material you could possibly get some harmonics from them. They could have also done a fast cut, that will cause some chatter too.
