wsup everyone,

Does any one have stock torque spec for front strut? I had to remove it to install the spacer.

Thanks in advance.

How would you use a torque wrench on that "nut" anyway?

It isn't set by torque. After you bolt down the two end mounting points, you must tighten the center bolt on the strutbar about 1.7 turns (660º). Assuming that you didn't loosen it 1.7 turns before removing it, you probably ought to do that first before re-installing the strutbar.

So a strut bar doesn't really need to be torqued then?

Not "torqued" in the classic sense of the word. It's a compression device. You install the strutbar then when you turn the adjusting bolt, you're applying pressure to the strut towers. If you don't preload it, then it's probably not doing all the good intended by its design.

download the 350z factory manual from 350ztech and it will tell all the torque specs of every bolt in the car. it thinkg it tell u that the strut bar needs to be about 10-17 from the engine cover something like that i dont remember bu its on the manual
