Technically it's not a "NACA" duct as that is really only applied to a very specific inlet design developed by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA).

Design looks good for a track car though for sure, post up some pics of the backing plate you end up using and let us know the results on the track.

And why not paint your front bumper, even race cars are painted nicely Ever see a DTM, F1, or any other professional race car with an unpainted front end? Shiny paint makes you faster, it's true because I said it on the internets and the internets is never wrong. It'll reduce your Cd, sorta like how your car seems way faster after you wax it

You are right, it is not technically a naca duct.

And no, I will never paint the bumper. I refuse. I like to hit **** with it and be able to laugh. (BTW, the rear bumper is not painted either. Some of you are freaking out right now, aren't you?)

Brake hose got here today. I will need to hack up the core support a bit to make room for it to pass thru. But I've already "did the math" so to speak, and theres room.

Can't tell from your pics but do you have stock brakes, Brembos or aftermarket BBKs? Just wondering what setup you have for you to install the brake ducts. I do autocross & road courses, and so far, have not had any heating issues with my Brembos. I even did a road course here in Texas back in July (over 100 degrees) and no issues even though most of the domestic muscle cars were overheating.

Take pics when you get the hoses installed. Just curious to see how it's routed from the front to the wheel well area. May have to do this someday.
