Default My Iforged don't clear Brembos in Rear

I found out that I need 1/4 inch spacers for the rear to clear the brembos.

I believe their where one or two others that had to do this. If I remember correctly it was because of the 4 inch lip.

Should I be concerned with running spacers?

What are the potential negative side effects?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I was the first with that problem. I thought Vince wasn't selling 4" lips with brembos anymore?

Anyway, mine just barely didn't clear, so Vince sent me some generic 3mm spacers. Later I had Wadd3456 make me some hubcentric 2mm spacers, and they clear just fine. However, mine were so close to clearing without spacers, that only one side rubbed, and that was after the wheel and brake got hot.

How far from clearing are you, and what is the offset on your wheels. Mine are a +30, and with a 3mm spacer, it was +27, and they fit fine. 1/4" might put you near the wheel well though.

Thankyou for the quick response.

These wheels where ordered in the first group like yours. I received the wheels about 6 weeks ago but couldn't mount them without a car and tires.

I tried contacting Iforged yesterday and was unsuccessful. I know Vince is busy but I think this is important and he should have returned my calls by now! The fit is very close. The don't touch the caliper until the lug nuts are tightened. I think 3mm rings would work much better than the 1/4"(6.35mm) ones like you mentioned I just didn't know what was available and the wheel shop suggested 1/4" ones. I will try and see if it is not to late to go with 3mm ones.

By the way where do you get 2mm hubcentric spacers from?

Ammanuel,
I just got into town last night, and returned your call today. A 3mm spacer will solve your problem. Your order was one of the first with the brembo on the 4" lip application
