Question about my brakes

Just replaced my pads with Project Mu B-Force pads. They work great, but when I let off of the brake pedal, the pads don't completely release. I noticed this when coming to a stop, when my speed drops below 5 mph, I let it coast, and it will stop on it's own, as if I'm holding the pedal.
How do I fix this? Is there something that needs adjusting? This is the first time I've replaced my pads. I searched, but didn't find anything.

I put the OEM shims back in... Thought I was supposed to keep them...
The pads are F249 for the front, which also fit the G35, and R205 for the rear. If that means anything.

Oh, ok...
I'll take them out. Thanks. Never changed pads before, and thought they were important...
Thanks for the help guys.

do the calipers on a z have slider pins to grease? my mazda does.
if the OP was able to install the pads with the OE shims... i'm not sure if taking them out will fix his problem entirely.
and just as an fyi... the probability of brake squeal will be higher with the shims removed.

I haven't had a chance to remove the ships yet, but the pads don't seem to be grabbing as much. I know they're still making contact with the rotors, when I'm off of the pedal, but not as much as before. I'll try to get the shims off as soon as I can.

Yes, the calipers have slide pins.

you should get this fixed asap. you don't want to overheat your brakes from driving with them dragging around. at the best, you'll glaze your pads... at the worst, something will catch on fire.
i still don't think it's the shims.

When I changed my pads, I didn't add any grease to the slide pins at all. Just pulled them out, and kept them from getting contaminated. When I got done changing the pads, I just put everything back together.
