Default After Market Rotors?

It's that time again.....

It's time to change my brakes, and most likely the rotors since they seem to last no more than 2 sets of pads...

I couldn't find anything on the forum about opinions on after market rotors.
I usually buy factory ones. Are there any that people might recommend that are priced close to the factory ones?

Thanks.

You do realize that if they are within a certain spec you can have the rotors turned and keep using them right? I would use a ceramic pad that is less aggressive and choses to eat less rotor. Never had a nissan that had to have new rotors every 2 sets of pads.

My rotors are not turnable more than once.
Everytime I try to get them turned the second time everywhere I go, they say they are out of the safe mesurements.

Been, there. Nothing really other than Slotted or Drilled options.
Guess back to the dealership.

Maybe not enough search. There is ton of brand better quality then OEMs. What's your budget? what you looking for slotted? drilled? or blank? brembo or non brembo?

We have never discussed brake rotors. This should be informative.

When discussing potential Rotor Choice, please also list the brake pad you plan on using. this will determine how aggressive of a compound is being used on these rotors to cause (or prevent) rotor wear-

Default im just looking for alternatives nothing fancy for my DD.

I have a DD and as the other poster has said I have accepted the rotors being replaced after turning them once, if that sometimes.

I don't race, I occasionally hit above 100 just to let the beast out in clear situations (empty freeway).
I don't heal-toe.

I'm looking for just alternatives from OEM none brembo from the dealership.
If there are any recommendations for alternatives on OEM none brembo pads, I'm also open to suggestions.

I mean I can go to pepboys and buy their cheapest or their performance or whatever they promote. But I feel safer with the OEM.

My leasons from my (Professional Mechanic of over 30 years) uncle is that OEM is best for everything unless your looking for performance gain (which we all know is not all the best parts for cars as they do wear down the car faster.

It was just time to replace my brakes and if anyone has suggestions to alternatives to OEM (not looking for performance parts, but they are not ruled out) that people have tried or are using that they would recommend. Best ones closest to the OEM price would be nice.

+1

I recently picked up OE rear non-Brembo disks and Hawk HPS pads and have been quite happy with them. No fitment issues or anything, either.

"There is ton of brand better quality then OEMs" ?
What is your definition of quality a harder grade of cast iron that makes much more noise and wears slower and doesn't meet oem standards?

Something in the same quality and perform the same as an OEM.
Daily driving with no squeeling, last as long or longer than OEM.
