Pictures of your Z on Tein S tech with 19"
I just got these Tein S tech springs and im debating on putting them on, but ive heard that people in other threads been saying that its a waste of money because the drop isn't much! but i want to see for my self! so hope there are some good samples

Don't believe everything you hear. I am running S-Techs with 19" Volk SF-Challenge wheels and the drop made the car look 10x better. The wheel gap is only about one finger and I didn't have to roll the fenders. Here is a pic. If you want more I can post a few others.
Very clean ride!
damn thats perfect! i didn't want mine to bee tooo low and freakin scrape everywhere i go! do you scrap like crazy? and i heard they ride smoother then the stock ones. but ill need a camber kit for sure huh?
Ride is a bit more stiff but the car handles much better. I don't have a camber kit installed on my Z. To me it doesn't seem necessary because the negative came isn't too bad. I am going to take it to a shop sometime soon and have them check if my tires are wearing evenly but from what I can tell they look ok.
As far as scraping goes, its not too bad at all, just be careful. I have a Nismo front lip and even with that, the scraping is very minimal if you are careful. Speed bumps and semi-steep driveways don't seem to be a problem.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I did do another mod awhile back before the springs...The springmount cutting mod. Only did this on the rear though, and only cut about 1/4 inch off of the rubber. This may contribute to the lower ride height in the rear, but the fronts are only the springs.

Alright....just went out and took a few more pictures. Sorry this is the best I can do I just sold my DSLR camera and don't have a point and shoot, so I had to use the phone. I am running BF-Goodrich KDW's 245/35 and 275/35 incase anyone was wondering...

just dropped my car with the tein s tech and for sure it doesn't look as low as yours, and i guess ill do the same as you did and cut the shock mounts, but that would equal to a total of 1" and some cm.. you might need a camber kit after that but i dunno. it does look better than the stock ones thats for sure thanks BURNER

Burner, I was gonna say that no way does your car have S-Techs as your car looks lower than others, but now it makes sense because of you cutting the spring mounts.
IMHO it's a waste of time to buy the S tech to then later go through the hassle of cutting your spring mounts. You should've bought Hotchkis springs to begin with which would've given you the same after effect and still stay close to factory alignment spec.

.
Here is my Z sitting on S techs w/o springmount mod.
Spacers in the front with 255's and 285's in the rear make a big difference
Comparison with the BC Racing below..

That red Z a few posts up (sweet by the way) looks as low if not lower than mine and he is running the S-techs as well. I do think that how the drop looks has alot to do with your offset and tire/rim width and sidewall size as well.
