Default Tein S-techs - ??

Will Tein S techs settle more than the .7 and .6 they are supposed to drop the car?

depends on the car there will be a tolerance range...but .7F .6R is about right

Having been a member here since the beginning in 2003, S-tech's are not known for sagging beyond their drop specs on the 350Z.

Its funny how stech are such a small drop...

S stands for style and these seam more performance oriented....

mine dropped a bit more than .7 and .6 i think up to an inch...ive had them for about 2 yrs

Are you still running your stock shocks with no problem? The reason I asked because I'm thinking to replace my stock springs with S-Tech.

I've heard from some people that it dropped closer to 1.5" overall...after a year or two...

TEIN only has warranty against sagging for only 1 year

I've had mine for about 4 years. They haven't sagged beyond what they were suppose to...

I've had mine for a little over 2 years now and they haven't sagged beyond what they were suppose to, shocks are still fine as well...

Yes Ive been running them with stock shocks the whole time and not a problem. I am going to order coilovers as soon as I make up my mind on which ones first and my s-techs will be up for sale if ur interested. PM ME

i have stock springs and shocks, if i get the s-tech will it drop the rear about an inch?
i would like to drop about 2 inches both front and rear.
should i just go with the springs?

Lowers: Front -0.7" Rear -0.6"

so if your going to go 2 inches doesnt seem like a good choice does it?

S-techs are one of the better options for performance springs as far as I can tell though...

Is everyone that are using S-Tech's gotten the camber/toe kits installed as well? From what I understand you don't really need the camber/toe kits unless you're dropping 1"+ am I wrong to think this? Btw I will be running 20" rims on Falken FK452.

If you have an 04.5+ then not too much, the revised rear spring rates are actually higher than the S-tech rears, the fronts are progressive, but most of the "progression" has occurred just from the preload in the strut and the weight of the car. The front rates are a bit stiffer than stock 386/314 IIRC, but nothing significant. Shocks will change ride quality more, and the drop itself will play a bigger difference.

In the rear you can play with the upper spring mount to change the drop (both directions).
