Any pads with less brake dust?

How about these Hawks?

Check out Satisfied Brakes website, satisfiedbrakes.com, for the Pro Ceramic (PR-C). If you like, you can pick them up at a PePboys auto parts stores. They are known as "ProStop" ceramic at this store. Part # PR888-C are front pads, PR905-C are rears for '06-08 350z. Fronts were $49.99 and rears $39.99.

Ive been very satisfied with my Carbotech bobcats.

Not the cheapest but they bite, have good life and have very little dust.

^^^ +1 for the Bobcats. I use them for my street pads, then switch to XP10's when I do HPDE's.

How's the dust on those?

My brakes are still plenty good enough but I just can't take this damn brake dust anymore. Literally in one week my wheels are black. Driving me crazy man...

Why not just stick with OEM? I love the brakes on my 06. Great stopping power and VERY little dusting.

u srs? my old oems dusted and sounded like crap. Posiquiet from Centric are great for a street pad. almost zero dust, quiet as can be, inexpensive. only downside is they dont bite as hard as oem.

I've had 2 sets of Hawk HPS and I like them a lot. I've heard great things about Nismo as well.

Agreed, OEM brake pads do dust..I never had a problem with it sounding like crap though. I loved how they performed, just not the brake dust.. I have Centric Posi Quiets now,..they're ok..zero brake dust just there isn't even a initial bite it kinda sucks..

OEM pads are horrible. I have an insane amount of dust buildup... definitely buying new pads soon.

What do you mean there isn't an initial bite?

a Z i drove for a month had the same squeal mine current one had until i changed out pads. many people have reported noise with their oem pads. i love the bite but the noise and dust were really a turn off. the centrics were strange at first but they feel completely normal to me now.

To the guys who had the Centric Posi Quiets, did you bed the pads in? I'm curious because I hear the Hawk HPS's have a very good initial bite and the Co-efficient of friction is very close to that of the Centric Posi Quiets, plus the the MOT is similar.

What do you mean there isn't an initial bite?
When you first press on the pedal it won't instantly stop as fast as the oem pads,..you'll have to press down harder then normal.

I am currently using Satisfied Brakes Pro Ceramic in '04 with Brembos and the dusting is much less than Nissan OEM pads. As for braking performance, I can't seem to tell much difference. However, I am no fan of cleaning wheels, so low dusting is important.

+2 incredible pad by CT. Hawk HPS underperform and the HP+ are not made for an 07. Just get the bobcats for the street. I'm also using xp12's for HPDE.

What year do you have? On my 06, I have VERY little dust from the brakes. I know they changed the size of the brakes starting on 06, so maybe that has something to do with it

A few other 06 owners also commented before about the low brake dust.

Default Need new brakes but forgot which to replace

Novice question. Which brakes go out first on a 350z front or rear since it is RWD? I know a FWD, the fronts would go out first. I have 33k on mine.
