So today is the first day in about three weeks that it hasn't rained. The roads are finally mostly dry so I decided to see what these brakes can do. WOW, they stop quickly! Great pedal feel and great f/r brake bias considering the rears grew substantially. Overall, braking control was much more reassuring than OEM. The real test however will be at the track on June 29th. I'll have some nice video for that, I'll make sure to stick my GoPro mount right behind the front wheel well.

Also, I'm gauging interest on the individual brackets required to mount the front calipers to a 350z. I need to see if the sponsorship fees are worth doing this. I have the brackets modeled up using a 3D cad package and my shop is making the first prototype now. If the demand for these are low then it won't be worth the sponsorship fees. Please PM or reply if you are interested in these.

I'm quite interested. Hopefully I will see you out at some of the Oklahoma Z club events with those brakes.

I'll be at the Sheriff's track in OKC on June 29th, are you coming again? Also, I will even help install these for locals....you have to buy me lunch though!

I wonder how these would look behind your Enkei's? Maybe we could throw them on my car for a few laps!

can you post where you bought these from, I like having the option to get different rotors other than OEM that some places are selling.

what color did you go with? I kinda wish I would have PC'd mine prior to installation. If I did it now then I'd have to put the OEM's back on....and I don't want to do that.

Did you have to disassemble them for powder coated? Also did you have to have to old coating removed as well?

Thanks,

C

the old coating must be removed prior to powdercoating. They should sand blast the original to give it a good surface for the powder to adhere to. The caliper technically doesn't have to be disassembled, but it's a good idea to do that.

If it fit behind the 03-05 wheels then it must fit behind the 06+ rims too.

The link's you posted say the kit is $1995. Where is this $1425 number coming from? Also i would be interested in the bracket as i have an account at the local Nissan dealership and could prolly put this together for a decent price. I want these bad!!!
