hmmm, ive read that the akebonos do better, probably depends more on the other factors, fluid, pad selection, etc.
i know the akebonos are bigger so dont know maybe the info i read was a bit outdated too and maybe they have better pads and rotor alternatives now brembo or akebono are both great looking brake kits,i really cant see that people sell these kits to move on to an aftermarket bbk lol, and i mean for those that dont abuse their brakes enough on the track to need any upgrade sounds pointless,these kits are great in looks and functionality,oh well their loss our gain or maybe im just dumb lol, problly a bit of both
I just bought a set of used OEM Brembo calipers but now I'm thinking about going with the Akebono kit from CZP instead. For just a few hundred more when it's all said and done, I get a kit that looks a bit bigger and apparently stops the car pretty well too. Only problem is, I don't really want the red or grey/black calipers that CZP is offering, or any of their customer PC color options. Hmmm decisions...

You can always get them powder coated in most places for 80-150.
