alliance 8/6 bbk for $3700 with custom color and 2 piece color matched rotors just seems like steal compared to this ordeal.

I'm very grateful for how far we've gotten.

If anyone wants to trade - it's roughly $8k +
any setup aside from oe.

I do accept wires. Will keep y'all posted.

I believe they're off a wet cnc.
seems like a TERRIBLY long ordeal, and lots of $$$ for no real benefits over other kits that RETAIL half that.. IMO.

what's the true significance of using these VS a 6-pot brembo GT kit, stoptech, etc?

seems like a crazy waste to me...

it sounds like a deal.. but wonder how well they perform. I did a lot of research and couldn't find any evidence of quality and where they are manufactured. Also the support for parts is a bit scary like saying, let's say you screw something while changing pads or working on your brakes. Where are you gonna find components? I've seen chinese/taiwan kits with similar style as well. not saying those are the one tho... If you are going for the looks and street driving, I guess they are fine

BTW, this GTR brakes are freaking crazy sexy hawt... but too expensive

So... You guys think they're too pricey? That's cool.

I've been pretty upfront about the whole process and my cost burden.

I've already met many goals I set out to, and the best is around the
proverbial corner. I've also got a few exterior updates just completed
(check out my media thread Nismo v2.2)...

I would still take this setup at my cost over all other choices (sans
endless racing 6/4).

See you on the netz... Completed photos will be up shortly.

Man.... I am so confused. I can't work out if you are:

A) Selling the R35 brakes.

Or

B) Still planning on putting them on your Z?

Which one is it?

seems like too much money to pool into one area when you could do about the same for much less... but looks great!

i didn't intend to sell the brakes off my car.

my intent was to demonstrate a pricepoint to own a similar
setup. that is the price i could source another r35 kit with
brackets for. in addition, we're not done with a 100% front
bracket. so all this is premature in general. i don't think this
will be done again. sometimes you've just gotta finish something
you start - the reward of the path and eventual outcome is
money well spent.

the issue with the setup on ebay is damage to one of the calipers.

take a close look - i believe it is one of the fronts.

i believe the calipers (brakes & pads & hardware) are worth roughly $5k used.

So aside from entertaining all the nay sayers; when are we going to have a centerfold of these puppies mounted?

OT - you have all that work done to your car, but no dyno sheets showing it's tuned safely, or at least you haven't shared them. . .

you and me both mike - unfortunately due to a commitment I've made
my ability to post a ton of photos will be compromised... I will definitely
do closeups and such.
