Default Just called my nissan dealer about the alignment issue

First a women got on the phone and told me "since we send the car out to KOST (tire and muffler shop) to get the alignment, you're better off just going there"...i was like "uh...this is warranty work and there's even a TSB out on it"...."you're gonna have to go to Kost"..."ITS WARRANTY WORK SO HOW DOES IT GET PAID FOR..ITS A KNOWN PROBLEM"..."well the warranty doesn't cover tires" ..."ITS NOT THE TIRES...ITS TEH ALIGNMENT PROBLEM THATS CAUSING IT"....she starts stuttering and tells me to hold on...but hangs up.

i call back and talk to a guy...i tell him the deal and says they need to set up an appointment but my car would be going to Kost....how does nissan NOT do alignments?

Any tips you can give me to fight to get new tires if the rotation and alighnment solve nothing and I still hear 1000db road noise?

You are not dealing with Nissan you are dealing with that dealer. If you want Nissan to do your alignment you should ship your car to Japan. If you want your alignment done at a Nissan dealer, try a different dealer; one that has an alignment machine as the one you are using obviously does not. Outsourcing jobs that a dealer does not have the capacity to handle is not uncommon.

If you need advice on how to fight then just show them the TSB that is issued for this problem. Tons of people are getting their tires replaced. Mine were replaced, too.

I see the TSB report but it doesn't mention replacing tires anywhere on it...only aligning them. And I don't want NISSAN OF JAPAN aligning my car either...smartguy..lol.

So just to clarify..this IS a warranty issue and the nissan DEALER shouldn't be giving me any crap? if they refuse to replace my tires...then whats the next step...is there a corporate number to call?

Joe the SM at cooper said I had no problem at 3,857 but then again he could not see a 4mm difference between the hood gap on the right side vs the left. Anybody can see double right? Any way I went to RothRock (Rte 22 & 15th St Allentown) They confirmed cupping / feathering and road noise as well as the braking harshness. They have completed the TSB, although they nicked my rims a little swapping the front tires at least they were responsive. Now I debating going back to Cooper, since I bought the car there, to fight for new tires. The road noise and brake feel are coming back after 2300 miles. You would think that $60 Mobil One oil changes would earn you a little consideration..not. Any suggestions for the new tire battle? Got a phone number for Nissan factory Customer Service? How do you get a case #?

I haven't recieved my car yet (its on order). But, I have been through a major battle with a car manufacturer over a warranty issue. The procedure should be spelled out in the owners manual. Follow the procedures exactly! Registered mail means you're serious. Good luck, Chris

PS, Feel free to contact me for advise. Unfortunatly I've been to court many times.
