Default BBK color for Black Z....

First off thanks for those taking the time to help me think this one out. Ihave a 2004 Touring Z so my stock brakes leave a lot to be desired. Bought the car with the stock brakes already painted red.

The new wheels are on (wheels caps on back order FYI) so it's about time to do something. The front is a style A face so it'll leave the most room for the brake upgrade. I'm leaning towards the Endless BBK right now. Just a little wrapped up in picking a color. For one, I've never seen these any other colors but blue and a custom silver. The options are Silver, Gold, Red, Black, and Charcol Grey.... At this point I'm considering Silver, red, black, and charcol grey.... Really thinking Charcol but I've yet to see a picture of them even with all my seaches. What do you think? Posted below are the only two pictures I have of my Z on the computer

PS. Tein Basics on order

Thanks

Don't they offer them in alumite finish? I'd get alumite.

I voted silver... charcoal gray would be a close second, I think the silver would add just the right amount of contrast though.

Now in exchange for my input can I get your honest opinion of those NT05's? I'm particularly interested in a wet weather review. Have you been in the rain with them yet?

Wait you are going to spend that much for an Endless BBK but cheap out with Tein Basics???

Endless are nice but the difference between those and the other brand BBK could pay for a better suspension package with a few other goodies to boot...

I've thought about that little catch with me cheaping out on the Tein Basics. What it really came down too was the fact that my car will be a 99% street driven car. The spring rates on the flex were a lot more agressive. Thought basics were cheap enough to the point where it would improve handling, give me the height I want, and still be half way comfortable. I don't have them yet and could always send them back.... Been questioning myself ever since I placed the order.

I'm not completely set on endless, just leaning in that direction. After all, I'll pay as much for them as i would any other brake kit... Horsepowerfreaks has the 6 piston front for $2700, same or near HP 6. Still researching it all out as I go.... Just trying to get a color down.

Any pictures of the alumite finish? Was that the custom silver I've seen on page 2 of the Big brake picture thread?

that's probably just for the 6piston mini calipers with no rotors included. endless brakes are not cheap, the msrp on mine were about 4x that price with a custom color.

Black.

Only get the Project mu color if you get Project mu brakes.

NOT red, its way to played out for bbk's...

+1 on cheaper (but just as effective) brakes and better suspension (something like kw v3's or bilstein pss10's since you want comfort for a mostly street driven car)

read the last sentence in the link below. it prolly only works with the brembo's only, not the standard brakes like you have.

From right to left, chrome with buff finish, gold, alumite with no color added, yellow and red:
