yeah, its not really cost effective. Even the AP racing 6 pot is $2600. The Brembo same specs is at least $3100. Thanks again for the cat pipes by the way! I kicked a lot of mazda aZZ with them last weekend.

The 14" GT kit Rocks. I heard that there was a 350Z in the Sport Compact Car Ultimate Street Car Challenge. It had the 14" kit and won the brake test. Yes it is more expensive than the AP kit but it is better than anything else on the market. It many ways.

PM me and I'll explain some details.

Oh RTShill, I beg to differ. The JIC 350Z was tested by the same people at the same track in July, and the JIC 350Z was under 98.5 feet 60-0 with the StopTech 4 wheel kit versus your 103.5 feet.
JIC was on Toyo RA1 tires and your car was on Hoosiers.
You do not have the bragging rights for the best stopping distance with a 350Z brake upgrade.

All in all the 350Z is one of the best stopping sports cars on the market with a balanced brake upgrade.

Hey Bob,
do you have the 355mm front and rear kit in stock with red calipers and crossed drilled rotors. the only reason i have not placed an order is because i called stoptech last week and they told me that they were waiting for the rotors to come in..

Drilled rotors? Ick!

I can ship a red, 4-wheel 355mm kit in a couple days and I've got some interesting rotor options that might interest you. Give me a call and we can discuss it! I think you'll be happy. And you'll end up with something a bit unique and without the propensity for cracking that a drilled rotor entails.

What Stoptech needs to sell is a 13 inch kit for all four wheels! Bling is the enemy to a sports car, so I run 17 inch wheels and therefore can't fit 14 inch brakes on my car. Please tell me Stoptech has this and I am not seeing correctly! Because of this i have been searching high and low for someone to sell me their stock track model Brembos. I don't want 13.1 inch Stoptech kit up front and tiny little stock rears in my car. I know I'll have heat issues with the rear rotors and pads with that set-up on the track. Help!

I too would like to see a Stoptech rear kit to go along with their 13.1" front. Mainly I'm looking for duel piston rear calipers with larger pads. Getting only 2 track days out of rear race pads is getting old. BUT, It does stop awesomely!

I second the call for a 13.1 inch 4 wheel stoptech kit. It would be nice to keep the lighter 17s for the track, and I dont think that the 14 inch provide that much more fade resistance over 13inch... is that a fair assumption?

I would go with the front 13" kit, but having it unbalanced just looks silly =)..

Bump. I'd be interested in a F+R kit for 13.1" rotors - to fit within the 17's.

Default 13inch Rear 350Z brake kit

Hey Mr. Stoptech, I think we're onto something here...

Blue Liquid. I hear the request and really wish the engineering team could jump on this immediately.
Our team is in melt down getting ready for the Sema 2003 show.

There are some technical problems fitting our 4 piston caliper on a rotor smaller than 355mm.

We need a little more data on the rear pad wear and maybe we can help. Is this with a stock front or a front upgrade?

What pads were used front and rear?

CanAmBob....PM me your work phone #. I'll call after I bleed my brakes & put in new Panther XP rear pads. I'm getting ready for track day #8.

BTW, VERY happy with your 13.1" kit.

Well Bob, I understand about SEMA. But I bet many people would be interested in the lower cost and 17 inch wheel compatibility of a 4 wheel 13 inch kit. Please keep us posted! Also, I'm curious about your statement about fitment of a 13 inch kit in the issue of technical problems fitting a 4 piston caliper on a rotor smaller than 355mm? I presume you are referring to a rear fittment only? Maybe something to do with that pesky hand brake? C'mon Bob, I need the build quality and performance of your product in a 13 inch kit!

Isn the existing 13" front only kit 4 piston? Seems like putting the front kit on all 4 wheels, with some kind of tuning should work...

The problem may turn out to be the parking brake. The parking brake mechanism must fit completely within the hat of the rear rotor. With many applications, the parking brake is too large to fit inside a 332mm rotor, mandating the use of a 355mm rotor. This is the case with the BMW E39 5-Series.
