Default Question On What Type Of Brakes To Go With (YES IM A NOOB)

I Was Just Looking For Some Suggestions On What Type Of Brake Setup I Should Go With On My 04 Z . Let Me Know Your Personal Suggetions And Why You Like Them. I Was Thinking About Doing Greddy Big Brakes, Tri-Slotted/Drilled All The Way Around.

What do you do with your Z? Daily driver? Track? What kind of track? Short circuit? High speed circuit? Why do you feel the need to go with bigger brakes?

+1

Better tires will reduce stopping distance the most, so will more aggressive pads. SS braided lines and good fluids will improve brake feel and response.

A BBK will also reduce stopping distance, but its main purpose is to dissipate heat generated through prolonged heavy use. If your goal is for show, then better wheels will serve you better as people will see them first.

There are many kits out there, each with their own pros/cons. Look up Alcon, AP Racing, Brembo, and Endless for higher performance. Stoptech and Wilwood have lower price and so are their performance.

stick with stock, or get some OEM brembos or the 370Z sport brakes. the rest are a waste for street use
