Default Hate to do this... WHICH BRAKE PAD lol

Sup guys... need some new pad...

oem pads i have create WAY too much dust.. and squeel like a **** lol

iv heard great stuff about the project u bforce pads.
but i never track my car and stock pads had enough stoppin power for me.

but i heard it kinda squeels from time to time?

so i was just thinking to get the NS street pads from project u.

less squeel maybe cause they are street pads? cant find much info on these.

and dont want HAWK pads... read too many bad reviews on thoes.

so any users can confirm that the project u NS street pads are good in noise and dust? and hopefully the same bite as the oe pads.

thanks!

hmm got about 35k miles on my car.

dont think i have a really heavy foot lol

it started squeeking PRETTY damn bad.. all the time when breaks were applied.

went to the shop and they said they are fine with about 40% left in the front.

they cleaned them up and applied some anti squeel. but of course that didnt do anything haha.

soooo any advice about the project u street pads?

I changed my pads around 55k miles with Axxis pads and they are great. No squeels, good stopping power.

Sorry no advice about the project u street pads. Good luck!

i have the project mu b force pads, they dust significantly more than oem pads (more than double iirc about the oem pads). also my stock pads never sqealed at all, but these do a little bit just before the complete stop.

did you buy your car new? if not, maybe its not the oem pads that are in there...

Well i guess it's confirmed now that the dust alot lol. That's funny cause they are advertised as less dust then or pads.

I'm just going to assume that the street pads are going to dust alot too

hmmm wat pads to get now?

No dust and queit ones? Nismo pads?

My first choice would be Endless M-sport. Other possibilities would be Hawk Performance Ceramic or Stoptech Axxis Deluxe Plus

one thing to note about the endless m-sports (and also the cc-a) the dust they produce is more granular than dusty ... it wipes off very easily.

+1. The B Force pads make crazy dust... and mine squeel right before stopping too. Otherwise they're great pads. Excellent bite, and stopping power.

I have the Nismo's. Great bite when cold, super grippy when warm, almost no fade compared to stock, no dust at all, and no noise at all. Perfect pad IMO.

I don't know who would say that the nismos squeal. I did tons of research before committing to a pad and I read nothing but positive reviews. If mine would have made any noise once since I had them they would have been off and replaced with something else.

If you decide to pick up a pair, contact Eddie at MyNismo.com, they had the best price around when I got mine last fall.
