I don't know who would say that the nismos squeal. I did tons of research before committing to a pad and I read nothing but positive reviews. If mine would have made any noise once since I had them they would have been off and replaced with something else.
If you decide to pick up a pair, contact Eddie at MyNismo.com, they had the best price around when I got mine last fall.

exactly wat i wanted to hear lol
how about brake dust?
the centric posi quiets i changed to have way less brake dust compared to my oem, but i dont like the feel compared to oem. initial bite? i think its called, doesnt come in as quick as the oem
what year do you have again? If you have an older z with the OEM single piston calipers, then pretty much any low dusting pad is going to have worse cold stopping bite compared to stock. For that design, there is a significant tradeoff between wear/dusting and performance, so keep that in mind. IMO, consider an upgrade to a set later model dual piston front brakes with the larger rear rotors. My brakes stop every bit as good as the older setup and hardly dust at all
2nd. No dust at all.
You absolutely can use them with factory rotors, just get them resurfaced.
