H&R Touring Cup Kit
Anyone have some good reviews about this coil over setup??
Im trying to decide if i should get these
OR
D-specs with tanabe gf springs.
I love the drop that the tanabe springs will give me..
but of course the coilevers have the advantage of hieght adjustment!
soooo chime in please and help me decide.
would either of these have a better ride then the other?
Dailydriver here!
thanks!

GF210's would be about the last spring I'd buy, next to NF210s. A better choice would be Eibach Pro-kit, but if your just buying on looks mainly, can"t help you with that method of choosing.
I don't harp on this much, but you could have found this thread in a search (and it's at the top of page two of this section right now).

anyone ever come up with the spring rates for these?
I'm interested in knowing what the max spring rate in these progressive springs... a I kno H&R doesn't really give away any of their specs.
Since these are on clearance now it might be worth knowing what spring rates the shocks can support and swap the springs out for progressives of my desired specs.

iirc, it didn't say cup kit on my box...
i like mine, both how they ride and how they handle. i know they're progressive spring rates, but then the car is standing there, the soft part of the spring gets compressed, the progressive part of the spring acts like a helper spring, to make sure that the spring is always seated. thats whats written in the pamphlet included with the coilovers, and as far as i can tell, it rides like that to...

Not a fan of progressive springs of any kind on a performance car driven with performance intent. BUT, a German engineered Monotube damper that I suspect is being run with springs that aren't too much stiffer should trump the ride quality you'd get with a D-spec and whatever spring you could come up with. And that's no disrespect to the D-spec shock. I've driven two cars that had them, thought they were definately better then any oem shock easily. Asking for a ride along is a excellent thing to ask for, glad to see you thinking of that.
