Default Slammed Cars + Any Bumps and Scraps

I have made a few threads so far about dd slammed cars. Majority of the time i drive it ddnt require me to go over any speed bumps. Heres my question. When i go over it its scrapes like fukk and i always thoguht it was also hitting my mid pipe or y pipe. However i learned that it is hitting the cats and also the chasis support bar. How often have you guys been driving around scraping you flanges until it tore off. I understand it seems like a stupid question but I would just like an idea. Anything i can apply or buy in order to slow down the process of it breaking the chasis support bar or cats except for raising the car?

thanks

honestly, as long as it isn't those humongous steel plates on the freeway, your undercarriage last pretty long.
my Z is really low and i've been driving it like that scraping speed bumps and drive ways for almost 4 years and here in hawaii, everywhere you go will have speed bumps and crapping driveways.
Everything underneath is still ok, except my cats are a tad bit dented and i flattened my exhaust tips. lol

Why lower your car to the point you have to worry about damaging it or if you get a flat you cant even jack it up all for a look or stance.

What you mean you falltened you exhaust tips? You scraped so much?

Luckly i dont hit my exhaust tips considering the cans on my exhaust are huge. i jsut hear very unpleasant noise underneath. i think its msolty the cats and tht bar.

DURO78- if i get a flat i would have it towed since its on my insurance plan. also i can still jack it up

Interesting that you can still jack your car up.....lol...... doesn't sound "slammed" to me and yet your posting all these threads about scraping...

Mine's pretty damn low but that's how I always have all of my cars I have to be super extra careful but most of the time it's my front bumper. When it's further down underneath the car it's hitting one of those angular braces which is steel anyways so that's fine

trust me it is lol. i believe the jack can still fit underneath the car but i havent tired. At the shops, they usually have to put wood in order to lift my car up. And it sounds really bad when going over spped bumps. I feel like i break something or damage the exhaust but its only the cats hopefully =)
