Default New rotors and TPMS

Installing new rotors, StopTech Stage II kit. Noticed that there is no hole on the rotors for this bolt.

Is this bolt for the TPMS? Did Performance Nissan give me the wrong rotors? I specifically brought this up with the parts counter guy and he assured me that he sold me the right rotors.

This pic is from the original front passenger side rotor.

search prevails again. Found out that TPMS is in the wheels not the rotors. Still curios what that bolt is for. Anyone ?

I can only guess this is the same thing. See post #2 https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2008-n...questions.html

Basically unimportant so just remove it.

I believe that bolt is meant to keep people from putting the larger rear wheels found on the track model on the front rotors. Useless. Remove and discard.

Yep. Keeps you from putting the wheels on the wrong end.
The TPMS are you valve stems on OEM wheels. If you unscrew the sleeve that is around the valve stem, the TPMS fall into the wheels.

You have over 1500 posts and you don't know what that bolt is for. Less posting and more reading is recommended.

Its on all trim lines, not just Track.

And yes, as everyone has said, its to prevent some numbnut from putting the rears in the front since every Z has a staggered setup.
