Default ichiba camer kit issue with my dad

Hello everyone, I have a small problem and need some of your help. I am planning to get some coilovers. My dad believes my ichiba camber kit does not adjust. He believes that you need to take the whole system of the the car to adjust it. I told him you don't have to and you can keep it on the car to adjust it. I am going to take him to a local shop and have them explain to him as well that it can be adjusted, and will work with coilovers. In the mean time can people please explain that it will work so I have more evidence for my dad. Thank you very much everyone for your help. Any small post would be fine thank you!!

not sure if it matters but front or rear kit?

I know for sure the rear kit is adjustable while on the car.

I have the Ichiba camber kit on my Z and love it.

Yes, you adjust it while it is on the car. Just loosen the black lock nuts and turn the center to bring the arm in or out. And yes it will work with coilovers, camber arms work with every suspension setup for the car.

The Ichiba kit comes with 2 toe bolts. You must unbolt the inboard spring bucket and dremel the hole towards the center of the car. There is a step-by-step write-up in the DIY suspension section on here. It is very easy.

To answer your questions:

The front is adjustable while on the car. You need to raise the car to access the adjustment area on the front arms. This will all be done by the alignment tech of course.

The rear is also adjustable while on the car. With these, you don't need to raise the car, as they can be adjusted from the bottom. I made a little diagram for another thread which might help in understanding how the arm and toe cam/bolt adjust toe on the Z:

Or he fails because he has to ask his dad what he can put on his car. In which case the dad wins, lol.
