Default Are these worth it or NOT ?

There is a guy selling these locally and i'm running on stock suspension now was wondering if these are any good , i like to hear some opinions. Looking to lower the car about 1.5-2" : The add states the following ....

i have a set of dampers / springs that would fit 350z or g35

the suspension is sports / racing purpose

the set consists of

koni double adjustable shocks valved to the weight of the car with individual rebound and bump adjustments

nismo springs with 11/12kg rates

this costed me 3000$ a couple of years ago

selling for 550$ as is

Not certain I would buy used suspension. 10 or 100,000 miles on the components? Leaking shocks? Missing pieces? Potential benefit and savings outweighed by risk.

If you really need to lower 1.5 to 2, you need to make sure you spend the right amount of money and do it right.

Koni DA shocks are fantastic and worth every penny. Two major things:
1) Which version are they? My Koni DAs are blue.
2) "AS-IS" makes me worried that they need a rebuild. Rebuilds will run ~$200/shock. I also think those spring rates are too high.

As a point-of-reference, however, I think that a used, good-condition, set is worth over $1500 if not more. I believe my set was ~$3300 new, but these are total overkill if you just want a nice set of coilovers that you can set the ride height with.

that appears to be a tc kline/t2 setup.

i sure hope you plan on tracking this car a lot. that is a pretty rowdy setup for a car that will see a fair amount of street use.

looks pretty beat too.

I tried emailing the same guy a few days ago, but he still hasn't responded. My only concern is that the top 2 shocks are a different length so one might be blown. Im still waiting from him to see if I can get some more info.

I'm not gonna risk it getting blown shocks and used springs, i'm gonna save up a little bit more and go the coilover way.
