I've been noticing this on my wheels from time to time. Almost like soot, it wipes right off. I was thinking it may be clumped up brake dust falling from my rotors because the dust shieds were cut to fit the Brembos
Just curious if it's any cause for alam.

FYI- I do not know what type of pads I have and they do not sqeal.

Very good. I've never seen that before, it's not built up dust because I clean my wheels before I leave the house and find it when I get to work. Oh well.

Ceramic brakes and waxing the barrels may help.

The new StopTech performance pads are a great alternative to those high dusting high performance pads. They have great performance bite, high MOT, and low dust and low noise when compared to other pads.
The MOT on these pads is high enough to take it out to a track day, and yet has performance at street operating temperatures.
