a bagged car for some reason, when it's deflated the wheels camber out unnaturally(even if you're built for it) the ride's a bit bouncier looking if that makes sense. long story short, bags are noticable.

Basshead i have uas and so does my slammed homie Shane. We both live in la crescenta so if you want a ride feel free to swing on by Im not into the whole stretch tire scene but I drive with no gaps and the ride is pretty damn good if you ask me (i've had springs with tokico dspecs/stance coils/Kw v3 coils etc..)

so your telling me if i had my z caveman style and aligned it to the EXACT specs someone on coils has, YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO TELL IM ON BAGS JUST BY LOOKING AT THE WAY IT SITS?

keep in mind BOTH cars have the SAME EXACT setup.... down to the camber kitS (front and rear)

FYI- we all know coilovers are stiffer than bags

Come on, Guy, I didn't challenge your sexuality (I saw your other post). I simply stated a simile that it was a complete 180 in my opinion.

The reality is that if air bagging your car allows you to slam it for shows and flat-ground cruising, yet gives you the ability to raise it up when you need to go over a speed bump, I suppose that makes sense. I have height adjustability, but can't change it on-the-fly. There are very few times the car scrapes anything, so I don't miss having - or not having - that capability. I'd figure it was way more expensive to install everything to make it work, which then I would consider it silly, but if you can get it done for the price of a good set of C/Os, then I'd see the logic in that decision.

What are the pros, cons, brands and do I have to run it with coilovers still? http://www.refined-elegance.net This Z inspire me to go air bag. I'm just not gangster enough to rock it low as a DD =] Thats why I would like to bag it. Thanks in advance guys

OKAY, pros with bags: adjustability, don't have to rock it dumped driving, hit a switch and lower your car.
cons:ride quality CAN suffer (applications vary), alot of true stanceheads consider it the cheap way out. if you want a legit bag setup, no you cannot rock coilovers, however, there are http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...ng&prodid=4177 these products that allow a coilover to be run, and you can "deflate" the coilovers.

oh and IIRC I saw koni had released some type of air setup for the Z platform

I would like to spend no more than $3,000... I currently have lowering springs on. I want my car to be retardedly low, but this is my daily driver. So I need it to go up when it's necessary. Any great ideas?

roberuta cup kit. technically they aren't airbags, but they perform the same basic function with a much smaller range of height adjustability. click that z1auto link above.
