Default Diagnose my brake problem please.

(winter time)Icy roads kept me and my car from going home but being the stubborn person that I am, I still tried. I tried going up a icy road...failed , spinning my tires, I slowly started to drift back. No cars were on the road so I was able to turn the car to a ditch. While drifting back, my foot was on the brake. I felt a very unpleasant feeling beneath my foot. The sound was excruciating, like two metals grinding with each other. I thought maybe my brakes were locking up or something. Well about a week ago, I felt the same feeling and heard the same excruciating noise while slowly braking to go over some speed bumps. What might this be? It some times happens when ONLY slowly braking to stop. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Wear indicators?

Have you checked to see how much pad you have?

It's not the wear indicators. Front pads have a good amount of meat left, I checked them other day. The feeling beneath my foot when braking is the most significant and I know it's not the wear indicators. No CODES either...

wel the braking system isn't very complicated.. Brake pedal- master cylinder - abs module- brake lines- brake caliper- brake pads- rotors.

Take pads off and check them and check the fluid too.

When I'm going like 5-10mph and I press the brake pedal, same feeling and noise...***** driving me crazy.

I had this happen on my old accord one time when it was raining. Going 60mph on wet road, light turn red, hit the brakes and couldn't really stop smoothly. I had my foot hard on the brakes but the car was still rolling. While my foot was still on the brake pedal and the car still rolling, trying to stop, that's when I felt the weird pulsation under my foot and the weird noise.

did you feel the pedal kick back or pulsate by itself during this noise?

Yes.

I narrowed it down to the ABS after asking around and researching. Would dirty ABS sensors cause this?

kick back in pedal with pulsation is ABS.

i'd probably have a mechanic check out your sensors if it perhaps was damaged during your slip into the ditch.
