well i've been searching around but all i see was the people saying that the stock strut bar woudn't fit and have to get the one from crawford or APS. i bought the car and it already came with the crawford intake along with the crawford strut bar but i don't like the look of it so i'm looking to get a new strut bar but not sure if the carbing, cusco or any other brands will fit with the crawford intake or need a minor custom like adding some spacers or thick washers on the bolts for the strut bars. if so, will the strut bar hit the hood for sitting on the washers??

 

If you want a strut bar get one that fits in front of the upper plenum.

 

what david said. the spacer game will not pan out very well. be prepared to pay restocking fees if you gamble on a flat one (cusco, gt spec, nrg etc), and it doesn't work.

ones that go in front of the plenum are APS, Stillen and Crawford. none look that great. you can see my stillen one, I had the engine cover modified to fit with it and hide the uglyness.

Take it off, clean up really good and get it powdercoated.
