I've noticed there is a difference in the rear springs with BC BRs. Some kits included the gold hat with a "thinner" spring:

The other rear spring expands and doesn't include the gold hat:

Is this a difference between an older/newer model or a difference between the longer/shorter rear spring?

Default RS*R Sport Intelligence Coils

1. BRAND - RS*R Sport Intelligence (Ti2000 Titanium Composite springs with 10kg/9kg spring rates)
2. TYPE - OEM
3. PRICE - ~$1600
4. LINK - http://thmotorsports.com/rsr/rsr_spo...2-N400-06-2007
4. ANY OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION - I bought these used from a member on here. They were still on the same settings that the previous owner set. Overall I would say they were around the middle setting as far as dampening. Ride was great, not to soft but not to harsh. Ride felt way better than the lowering springs I had. Really satisfied with these coils. I need to buy camber kit and toe bolt kit then I can adjust to my needs. From the top of the front tires to the bottom of the fender, there is about a half inch gap. I do not have a pic of the rear but the rears height adjustment is at the body and at the OEM spring location (I will get pics of this later and update). The rears do have a nut already built into them. Rears are sitting at about half inch gap between tires and top of rear fenders, and I probably got about .5"-1" of lowering left.

Brand: Cusco Zero 2E
Type: OEM
Price: $2089.50
Link: http://thmotorsports.com/cusco/cusco...L%20CN-03-2007

Other Information:
has the option to get the Cusco Econ Controller which is pretty much an electronic dampening controller, very nice unit, coilovers are very daily drivable on their softest setting rears don't go extremely low I think max 2" however they handle very well. Extremely well I must say

I combined the coilovers with the Cusco Rear Camber arm and Trailing arms. soon to get the front camber arm for ultimate alignment adjustment. over all I am very very satisfied with the Coilovers. I've had them for about 6 months? Drifted and Time attack them and they handle the abuse very well. might send them out for a rebuild next year.

2. TYPE - TRUE
3. PRICE - ?
4. ANY OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION - ?
5. Rear extenders available.

EDIT* - STANCE ARE AVAILABLE IN TRUE AND OEM STYLE - YOU MUST CONTACT THE COMPANY YOU ARE BUYING THEM FROM AND ENSURE YOU GET THE SET UP YOU WANT!
I wanted to comment on these:
I have installed about 3 or 4 sets now of stance coilovers and one thing i hate is their adjustment ***** and their rear extenders.

See the adjustment **** has two tiny 2mm allen set screws that you must tighten to fit on the HEX of the adjustment shaft on the top of the coilovers.

I don't see why the hell STANCE didn't make the **** hex shaped as well, as they are simple circles and rely solely on the allen key to hold it securely.

HOWEVER,
the top of the *** has a 3mm hex hole in it's center! this is by far what gives stance redemption as you can easily slip a ball end 3mm allen key on a T handle into it and adjust them with ease!

Like this:

Notice how these allen's have a ball end, for getting at the allen hole at a slight angle??? This allows easy access to the trapped rear adjustment **** in the rear strut bar hole:

honestly, with the ball nose 3mm T-handle allen keys you "MAY" not even need to drill up the hole at all!!

Though i would let you guys know my findings.

Buddy Club Racing Spec Coilover
I don't have a pic of the actual coilovers but I do have them on the car.
Style: True coilovers front and rear
Spring Rates: 14K front and 8K rear (rear spring is a 5K spring but is equal to an 8k spring since the spring location is farther from the pivot point of the control arm)
No rear shock extender adjustment tool available, you have to use a long allen wrench.
Track use: Very good
AutoX use: Very good
Street use: Very good
Price: about $1400-$1500

EDIT* - your pic image was removed as its not an "ACTUAL" pic or even 350z specific picture of coilovers. the pic you provided though made by the same manufacture was just a general picture from some other configuration for a different car.

no, i have never seen them come with them. you always have to pay extra for them, so talk with the vendor your buying from and ensure your ordering them as well.

Do they bottom in the lower lug body or reach the spring lower double lock rings first???? if they have room in the lower body then you can order shorter springs (ie, swift springs) that are 7", etc and give you the bit of room you need?

I'm guessing though that they bottom in the short body???

yup, the lower locking nut is almost touch the lower shock mount/nut.
i called buddy club about it, they said the shorter shocks are 150 and the shorter springs are 50. but they no longer offer rebuilds.....

1. BRAND - HKS Hipermax 3 sports
2. TYPE - oem style
3. PRICE - $1700
4. rear inverted mono, rear shock adjuster can be accessed through the wheel if you have an open wheel style. front helper springs. optional rubber mounts instead of pillow mounts.

the rear springs/adjusters are some where in the garage, i'll try and snap pics this weekend. front springs are not the hks springs but are the same length.
