Default kw variant 3 instruction manual

hey guys,

i bought a set of secondhand kw variant 3 coilovers and they came without a unstruction manual. the guy who sold them to me can't help me because they were already installed when he bought his 350z.

does anyone have the instruction manual laying around and is willing to make a scan for me?

thank you in advance... you rock (:

Put in year, make, and model and then your coilovers. You can get the manual there.

Just a heads up, the instruction manual is pretty useless, unless you're using it to determine max and min ride heights it won't tell you much.

i f***ed up.

yesterday before reading the manual i thought the bump adjustment was on that second little piston so i turned that screw maybe 1/2 a turn on all shocks even though it has a warning sticker to not open it. i hadn't noticed the black plastic clip that hides the actual adjustment so i didn't see an alternative and interpreted the warning as not opening it completely. geez i feel like a moron..

anyways have i damaged something on the inside or is it just a cap to close the hole?

another point of worry is the fact the previous owner clearly didn't read the instructions either as the height asjustment on the front shocks were set at 7cm and the manual says adjustment is 3 to 5cm. so the shock is 2cm longer than it should be and the rideheight 2cm too high.

will this have damaged the shock?

i also read all the warnings about not driving the shocks in full hard or full soft. if i had known in how many ways you can ruin these shocks i would not have bought a secondhand set...

all those settings won´t ruin the shocks. you can drive it like this but you shouldn´t. My buddy is driving his variant 3 on max hard cause his wheels are grinding on the fenders!
3-5cm is the TÜV approved setting. The shocks should handle the 7cm without problems!
i personally got the kw spec NÜR edition suspension and i drove nearly every setting and nothing ever got damaged!

the manual talks about "isolator foam" that should be installed in the rear between the stock and the car body.

are these important? i don't have them.

Hi guys, I was also having an issue with my KW v3's I purchased second hand. The installation guide (referenced below) I downloaded does not show any visual information about all the parts that should of came originally with the kit or any other information about how the spring goes into the spring bucket. I was hoping someone could assist me as well, thank you in advance!

I know the adjuster goes on top but do I need anything else below the adjuster?

I have these two gold inserts with a plastic ring and these two red "cap" looking items with plastic rings. Can anyone guide me? Thank you!

Regards,
Simon

Do I need new rubber things? What adhesive should I use to hold them in place?

Adjusters go on top correct?

Where do the gold and red go?
