I recently replaced my rotors and brake pads. When I jacked up the car and tried to spin the wheels the rotor and brake pad would grind and cause the wheel to stop spinning in about half a rotation. I though this was something to do with the old rotor/pad. Then I replaced them and it still happens. All the others cars that I have seen jacked off the ground can spin its wheels very easily. I checked my e-brake and the gear was in neutral so nothing should slow it down. So I was wondering what is going on or if this is just natural for the Z?

 

1. Is this before or after you drove the car around some?
2. Brembo, non, other?
3. Did you buy the correct size pads? Make model?
4. Rear wheels? Front wheels?
