If you have the motive bleeder from Z1 its less than 2 pints to bleed your hole car. I love that tool.

When I did my BBK install I purchased 4x 32oz. bottles. You should only need 3 but I didn't feel like making another trip to the store just in case I messed up. Also, I purchased one of those motive bleeders online and that thing is the biggest POS. Don't believe the hype. I should have listened to everybody that keep saying "do it the 2-person old fashion way". I ended up selling that motive bleeder on craigs and did the 2-person way and it was so much easier.

Do explain, never heard any problems with the motive bleeders. I just bought one, so I would like to know. Thanks

We always recommend the 2-person method based on countless numbers of call from people complaining of a mushy pedal after install of a BBK or even just lines when using pressure bleeders. (there are professional grade systems that are fine, but they are many thousands of dollars and are not commonly used in home garages) The problem is that most pressure bleeders cannot create the same kinds of pressures that the pedal/master/booster create. While a pressure bleeder can make it easier to get most of the air out of the system, you should always at least finish up with the traditional method to get the best possible feel.

^Agreed. It's what we had to do on my BMWs that we installed BBKs on.
The pressure bleeder would get it most of the way there, but the traditional method had to be used to finish up.
