Default swapping brakes

i have a 05 350z and my brother has 06 g35 coupe.
The g35 has been having squealing sound from the wear audible brake clip(?) for quiet awhile. Will it be ok if i put my old brake pads on g35 until it wears down?
I'm thinking of getting Hawk HPS for myself

Unless your 05 has the dual piston calipers then it won't fit.

Damn i just checked g35 and 350z front calipers but they are different. but rear are same.
Both Z and G's rear pads have same thickness as the backing plate(?) so i assume i need to change the brake. My concern is that i don't think its normal to have rear worned down more than the front. I thought front brakes are suppose to wear faster... is it normal?
If so, i'm thinking of changing the rear only with Hawk HPS. what do you think?

The rear pads are tiny, and wear quickly on some cars. If TCS/VDS engages, the rear pads wear really quick.

WHen you say TCS/VDC engages, it means turning fast on corners with them on, right?

SHould i wait till the front brake wears down and replace fr and r at the same time or just change the rear now?

Just change the rears now. Simple and easy. Neither of my Z's get the brakes changed at the same time.

Should i resurface the rotor? It's 5 yrs old, i assume. I wish i knew how to measure the thickness of the rotor

If its not vibrating, don't bother. Just bed them in.
