Unhappy noise from front after coilover install

I installed stance gr+ true type coilovers about a week ago. My car is not that low maybe an inch drop. I noticed when going over bigger bumps or when going into a turn hard I hear a popping noise from the front of the car. I'm not sure if the actual spring on the coilovers is supposed to be able to spin when I have the car jacked up because I can by hand. I made sure everything is tight but it says in the instructions not to touch the two upper collars but it looks like those would make the spring tight? I don't know if I need to make a preload adjustment or what? If anyone knows an answer or has had the same problem any insight would be appreciated

sounds like your the springs on the coils might be binding. try having someone turn the wheel while hold the spring to see if you can see, hear, feel any popping coming from the spring. my friend has the same issue. not exactly sure how to fix it yet. i read using some grease on the springs might help. but it hasn't helped him yet.

The spring perches were not tight from the factory just needed to be tightened and no noise
