Default Help getting sways loose.

Hello...

I'm using my phone and searched best I could.

I'm trying to loosen the bolt on my rear sways to soften it. I tried a good 6 point socket. Impact etc. It's clearly going to strip before coming off.

I dontthink heat is good with the rubber nearby on the linkage.

I tried car on the ground... Partially jacked and both wheels up.

Any help is appreciated....

Hot hotchkis sways if that matters.

Thanks

If it's any consolation - I couldn't get one of the nuts on my OEM rear sway off either. It's hard to get a good angle and limited space make it tough - I eventually rounded the nut meaning that I had to Dremel it. If you cut a slot in the nut, almost down to the threads, that will allow you to drive something into the slot and pop it in half.

BTW - I tried WD40, PBlaster, heating it, hammering it, etc. and nothing worked.

I always use box ends on mine. Less side load, less chance of stripping

I used a 6 point which should provide the most even disbursement of pressure... It's looking like dremel time...
