I believe that if you adjust the rings on the spring you will change the spring constant which will change your ride quality. The one on the strut should lower or raise.

You change the spring perch locking rings to lower and raise. The strut is adjusted to change droop, there are probably some threads around telling you the way to determine droop. I called f&f asking about how to adjust my droop and the guy behind the desk basically said it didn't matter how long I had it, didn't seem like the most educated response so I would see what some of the more knowledgeable people on here say.

Adjust both, you need to maintain the right rear damper stroke range. Too short and suspension cannot extent enough, too long and your into the bumps too frequently.
