Default suggestions on new brake pads?

Can someone recommend me really good performance brake pads "not Brembo" for my 2007 350z? I'm looking to replace the OEM brake pads.

If you're not tracking the car, for daily driving just go to OReilly, Autozone, etc. and get some lifetime pads. They are usually made by Bendix or Akebono. Low dust, too.

I'd use the Hawk HPS ( High Performance Street ) pads. I'd also recommend using the Frozen Rotor Cryo treated rotors for considerably longer lasting warp resistant brake life. Slotting the rotors is also offered !

Here are some threads that cover most of the popular options for street performance pads:

even though erik selfishly posted links to StopTech Street Performance pads used by Brembo owners like myself, I would still suggest you look at them for your specific model Z as I am sure they make them for your model. They truely are a great high performance street pad and the full front and rear set doesnt cost an arm and a leg either.

Hawk HPS are overpriced and do not perform better than stock unless they are in their optimal temp range...translation: The Hawk HPS have horrible cold braking performance that is actually unsettling for daily driven street conditions. The only thing they do well is drastically cut down on dust levels, but at too far great a price IMO.
