This is going to sound stupid but here goes anyway. Is there any trick to removing the front rotors on a 2004? I have done brake jobs on many cars before and never had rotors that didn't just slide off after pulling the calipers.
I have been hitting them pretty hard with a rubber mallet and they just don't seem to budge. Any suggestions?
Take the peg off that keep you from mounting the rear wheels up front, then remove the spacer from the bolt, thread the bolt back it and it will pop the rotor off.
