Default Brembo swap question, what lines?

I just recently picked up parts to do a Brembo swap on my non-brembo Z.

The seller gave me: Rotors, Pads, Calipers- but no lines? The only lines I see are the hard lines coming off the calipers.

What else will I need to buy to complete the swap? (Sorry I'm a complete noob to brake parts) I'm assuming I need to buy new lines?

Thanks!

There are many threads on this, but just order lines that specify brembo and non brembo..

i know Z1 motorsports in georgia lines work, stoptech work, etc...

see the deal is the banjo bolt needs to be shorter........most of the companies have figured this out and got it working universal for both brembo and non brembo brake calipers......

^ yes...i guess thats fine, but ss lines would be much better, not for sure if they work, but if they worked for you then they should.....

REAR CALIPER BOLTS:
Also, OP, did you happen to get the rear bolts for the rear calipers??? the bolts are NOT the same for brembo versus non brembo brakes...

IF you dont have the rear bolts to mount the rear calipers then you need to go out and buy grade 10.9 bolts that are M12x1.75-35mm long....preferably flanged hex head bolt.

CRUSH/COPPER WASHERS:

also, good idea to get spare crush washers....Autozone help section p/n 66250 crush washers work perfect.

Hm, the seller gave me bolts with the calipers. Or are you talking about something completely different.

^ THE ACTUAL REAR BIG AZZ BOLTS TWO PER SIDE IN THE REAR...

those that actually mount the rear calipers to the rear spindle...you need those...
the nissan p/n for those bolts is PART# 08041-2351A

Ahhh, I think I understand. The bolts he gave me that hold the calipers on wont fit the thread on my non brembo mounting bracket.

^ okay good, then you have the brembo bolts you need then.....

if the bolts you have, thread into the rear mounting bolts of the rear brembo brakes, then your golden...those 4 are the 4 you need to use..

I take my car on the Nurburgring so I decided to get some stainless steel lines. Unfortunately, you're only allowed one lap at a time, so I really can't tell the difference in performance. I'm sure if I did consecutive laps, I'd notice the improvement. Unless you track your car, stock lines are fine.
