Help installing stance damper extenders
Does anyone know how to connect the damper extenders? Do I have to unscrew the damper adjuster to screw in the extenders? Thanks

hi,
I must say, im not very fond of the extenders..their build quality is horrible and the extenders themselves actually break easily. Seen it happen at least 5 times now....the latest are two of my friends - read here on post 16103 and 16104:

to install them you have it right - remove the **** and simply slip the extender over the hex nub and tighten with the allen keys...thats it..
I however would much rather suggest that you purchase ALLEN KEY T-handle (i believe its 3mm) and use the kind with the BALL end so that you can get at the adjustment **** at an angle...

Called stance and sent them pictures and they confirmed them sent me thr wrong extenders. The top of the shock/adj damper was not supposed to be loosen ... ONLY the bottom of the extenders, one with the hex was supposed to be loosen ... this was what I was talking about and it doesn't fit.

hum?? hard to know what your talking about with out pics of the wrong extenders they sent you...
but either way, when you get the correct ones from them you will find, that they mount onto the top of the coilover hex minus the **** thats on their now........
The bottom of the extenders are NOT a hex, they are circular and simply 'bite' onto the hex via little allen key set screws.........from there when you try and turn the extenders they break at the undersized coiled shaft.

Here we go....
These are stance rear coilovers:
OKay, the gold end extenders on the Right are stance extenders:
Notice how they are circular and just use the allen key set screw to hold onto the hex shaft:
For reference, the ones on the left are BC coilover extenders....
Either way, I would bet on the first or second use that the stance extenders snap on you like this:
pics provided from user: 415mm - thanks...
T-handle long allen with ball on top is your best bet.....

Spoke with stance today they told me that I have the newest version of gr+ and that they no longer come with ***** since they are much larger and that explains why the extenders did not fit. I used a 4mm to adjust the damper. I'll confirm it tomorrow. Im too tired to go outside
