Default Brake upgrade and now no pressure

Okay guys I need your assistance here.

Car 2005 350z with 40k.

I just attempted to upgrade my brakes with the following:

• Front and rear calipers and rotors from a 2007 350z; bigger rotors and twin piston calipers only 27,000miles on these
• Upgraded to stainless steel lines from Techna-fit
• Super blue DOT 4 fluid.

All items above have been installed and after 1.5 liters of fluid I still can’t build any pressure I’ve kept the MC reservoir filled during the bleeding process but so far nothing. The only thing I can point to is that the MC is unable to build up pressure.

FYI I’m doing this with a mechanic and I’m only assisting.

Your assistance is appreciated.

What's your bleeding procedure currently?

Reference: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...edbrakes.shtml

Check and retorque the lines also.

You need to powerbleed them as mentioned above. Check these threads....

Thanks guys.

We are following the traditional bleeding method as found on the suggested Stoptech article. I was fearing the MC was damaged but I shall try the Power bleeder method…now to find one.

Thanks again.
