rebound or compression and rebound?
can the suspension gurus please tell me why i would want a separate adjuster for compression? i am into spirited driving and would like to auto-x/trackday my car at some point and have been looking at either the KW v2 or v3. i have a basic understanding of what compression and rebound is but not sure why i would or wouldnt want to have the compression adjustment.
any help with our flame would be great. (yes ive been searching)

There's a whole series regarding the design and tuning of racing shocks on the Circle Track magazine web site. Start reading here:

Well all technical aspects aside, I wish I could adjust the rebound/compression separately so that I could achieve a softer ride without getting extra "bouncing" to go with it. With my monoflex, you pretty much have to stick to the stiff side if you don't want it bouncing up and down after every little bump. The springs are stiff so bounce amplitude is small but enough to be annoying. I would have liked less rebound effect but more compression...
