Default Stance question

Ok, I put Eibach Pro springs on and I like it alot better than the stock height but I've got one complaint. I like the small gap in the front between the tire and car but there's a larger gap in the rear so my car slants downward from back to front. I would really like the rear to sit at the same height as the front and the car to be parallel to the road.

I have the LMGT4 rims so my rear tire is different than the front and has a larger sidewall.

So, my question is: Is my current stance due to the Eibach springs sitting a little higher in the back and then when passengers get in the car it'll drop to be even with the front or is it because the sidewalls of the rear tires are a little higher than the front tires? Is my solution to: have the rear springs cut a little, use a different tire in the rear and if I do cut the springs and later change rims/tires won't that mess up the stance with different tires? Any advice is appreciated. See pic below.

Don't cut the rear springs...

You can cut down the rubber bump stop/spring mount (same piece) and get about another 1/2" drop.

Search the DIY section, there is one there on how to do it.

Did you just recently install the springs? I'd wait for the springs to fully settle before making any changes to your suspension. They might settle to the height that you want on their own without you having to do anything. I know my eibach sportlines settled quite a bit.

Give it a week or two to see if it settles in to your liking... If not, measure the ammount you want to lower the rear, the cut the rubber springmount that much...

+1 Agree. Let them settle first before proceeding.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I dropped it back in August 2010 so it's been a good while now. After really staring at it in different locations now it seems like sometimes the rear is matched with the front and sometimes not depending on where it's parked/the incline, etc. I also noticed it dropped some in the back when my brother was sitting in there. But when I see pics of other 350z's much of the time they look level w/o anyone sitting in them which is why I made this thread. My fear is if I cut in the back and then 2 people sit in it afterward that the front will be higher than the back. I guess what I need to do is have 2 people sit in it and THEN measure in front and back while they're still in there. I imagine that will let me know how much to cut.

Remember the gas tank, when full is 123 pounds, weight add up quickly.

Ahh, good point there too. My tank was only half full when the pic was taken. I'm officially scared to cut anything at the moment lol

Make sure the springs are seated correctly in the spring bucket!

Other than that be happy

Well, I just now took another pic with the same half tank of gas as before. This time the car is on an incline and looks great so it must just be the suspension adjusting to the incline. I'm sticking with the Eibach Pro kit after seeing this pic lol
