Default Brake questions

I am mechicanlly inclined when it comes to brakes. Ok for starters I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it sounds its metal touching or screeching to each other everytime I apply my brakes and it also makes the sound when I am making a tight right turn and now it does when I make a tight left turn and this is without braking. Everything just got worst lastnight and I have to drive about 60 miles to work. The sound goes away after driving in normal conditions, but usually when I brake or make turns.

Its coming from my rear passenger side. I am not too sure if it could be rotors, brake pads.

Pads, just change them. Simple and easy job. If you do it yourself its only about $20

If it's not the pads, check the wheel bearings.

The pad includes a metal wear indicator that will touch the rotor. It is designed to work that way.

Noise when turning? I don't know. The wheels, rotors and callipers are in the same position when turning.

If the bearings are loose, the rotors will move more than usual because of the side loads when turning corners.
