If your car is slammed and you've replaced your front upper control arms to adjust camber what arms do you have and are you bottoming out (UCA hitting the top of the chassis / body) I'm not here to get roasted for buying cheap parts I just need to know what arms will work for my car. I'm low as hell and have Megan camber arms and they are hitting the body even with my coils are as stiff as possible. I want to run SPC's but the design doesn’t look to much smaller than Megan so I'm thinking about SPL arms (look like they have the most slender design but also pricey) I came across some Kinetix arms but they look downright weird...thanks in advance for any feedback

Megan arms are very thin compared to spc, they are real low profile.

even with the v1 spl i bottomed out. best bet is to pull your coilovers apart and put a bump stop in their. that or what i was originaly trying to do and cut the spots in the frame where they were bottoming out. i have a ton of stuff cut under my fender well from when i was 2" from the ground.

I had to trim the plastic fender liner slightly, other than that it bottems out on the inner fender like any other UCA. But the Megan arm is thinner than most. arms.

Im running spc/eibach's and they hit like a ****. Im going to try the stock ones on tonight (Will put my camber around -2.75 which isnt HORRIBLE) and see if the bottoming out stops. If it doesnt im taking it to a local fab shop to have my inner fenders all hacked up. Im pretty low but want to be DUMPED and cant stand the bottomoing out anymore.

I wonder if people understand that bottoming out is just part of being low. Its not like you can magically gain a bunch more suspension up travel, and if you could, the common fool would probably just lower car more to get rid of the extra up travel.

bottoming out doesnt have to be part of being low. My stance coilovers arent going to bottom out on me, i know that. Sometimes you have to cut/weld/grind, but where theres a will, theres a way, and im not going to raise my car just because something is hitting. Ill just make room.

to the OP - what exactly are you trying to achieve?
what is your rideheight (distance from level ground to centerline of front fender)?
as far as bottoming out, you have to define that - suspension (strut/spring/coilover) or your a arm hitting your inner fender? Two totally different things

Can you go lower with stock arms as far as hitting the well?

If you guys stayed with the SPC arms, and cut up the fender a bit, how did it go?
Was the clunking reduced a lot?
Did it mess anything up?
Sorry for the questions, this clunking is killing me.
