Default Springs question

Do used springs need to be settled? Or is it just brand new ones that requires waiting for it to settle?

Springs don't settle. If they're not properly installed, they can move around some and settle. If they're installed correctly, they should never settle.

If springs settled, we'd all have to take our new cars back for suspension adjustments after the first xxx miles.

yes used springs still have to "settle". It doesn't take as long as brand new springs but still take like a week or so depending on how many miles are on the used set.
