Default Has anyone ever heard of Powertrix coilovers for the 35

I bought these last year and I can't find any info on them for 350Z, only for 300ZX. What gives? Also, are 12K front springs extremely stiff?

These are like brand new and I got a great deal on them, so I'd like to be able to use them if they are decent...

EDIT: They now actually show them on their site. It was not there before..

I see no helper springs. Ive never heard of them, but they're probably copies of megans.

yes that sounds stiff for a spring rate. Try them out you may like them.

This place has been around since at least 2004. WHat makes you guys think the are replicas and not made by the same company that makes all the others? I had read somewhere that they were made by BC or the same company that makes BC? PRetty sure the majority of mid level non JDM systems are "Made in China"or Taiwan anyway.

BC shares a lot of design with the China coilovers. The reason why its hard to believe those are legit is because the amount of R&D that goes into making quality shock and spring is out of the scope of a company who is trying to make quick money.

They have nothing but great reviews by the Z32 guys and it seems they R&D'd specifically for the Z32 market. Not sure about these...

They have great reviews from the 300zx guys,

but those look exactly like the Megan racing coils just a green color instead of red and stiffer springs, but I would give them a try if you already have them.

I've ordered a bunch of little things from them including Z32 front brake conversion and misc suspension pieces for my racecar eons ago and remember good service and quality. It's a name I haven't thought about in a long time and not surprised they're still around. 12k sounds a bit stiff for street use though even in a Z34 chassis. You may wanna swap out springs ya?
